Seiseta Keratin Bond Hair Extensions

Each weft of hair contains a bead of keratin, which is bonded to your natural hair using a special tool. The heated wand heats up the keratin bead for a few seconds, then the weft is rolled to form the bond as the keratin cools. Seiseta wefts of human hair are silicone-free and feels soft and silky to the touch.

Wefts are available in 20+ pre-coloured shades from black to ultra light platinum blonde, with ombre effects, fashion colours and curly textures. And because it is human hair, these extensions can be further customized with an in-salon hair colour service before they are installed.

Colour Matching

Seiseta hair extensions are available pre-coloured from natural shades (ebony to platinum) to neon, you have a rainbow of choice to create your signature style. We can match your natural or desired hair colour to one or several of the pre-coloured options as we create your style. If needed, we can deepen or lighten the hair extensions (within reason) at the salon before installing them. Extreme lightening is not recommended for hair extensions, so it's best to start with a shade that is as close as possible to your desired result.

Maintaining Your Hair Extensions

We will instruct you on the best way to take care of hair extensions at home so that they last as long as possible. It will be important to be very gentle with your hair, to brush your hair often to avoid tangling and to keep your hair moisturized to avoid unnecessary breakage.

We offer keratin bond fusion extensions as well as tape in extensions. Both are made by Seiseta and are of excellent quality. Fusion extensions are often favoured for someone with an active lifestyle or someone who wants to add lots of extended length. Tape ins are a much shorter application time, a full head can be applied in about an hour. Fusion extensions use a strand by strand method, smaller wefts of hair, and can take several hours to apply a full head. The official name is Seiseta but it's not uncommon to hear the name Siesta Extensions used.  Formerly Euro SoCap, the company that produces these extensions wanted to differentiate this brand of extensions within their lineup.  The Italian based company changed the name to Seiseta, pronounced see-say-ta, which means “you are silk.” But don't stress over getting it right. If you ask for Siesta hair extensions, we'll know exactly what you mean.
